Product Description When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?
To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife have led her to the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or to pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fates of two tribes hangs.
Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating, and unfathomable, consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life-first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse-seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed... forever?
The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

Now lets all remember...it's FICTION!!!! August 20, 2008 Ok so let's everyone back down for a second and remember that this is not real!!! Of course things wouldn't work out all hunky dory in real life, that's why it's nice to pick up a book like this and escape into Bella's world for a little bit and get away from every day problems. Please just enjoy the book for what it is, a good piece of fiction!
Liked it, but it's a little too long August 20, 2008 ** spoiler alert ** SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!
I was so-so on the third book of this series, going back and forth between liked it/not so much, but I still waited with great anticipation for this final book. I'll just summarize with some of my thoughts:
-- I felt the book was too long -- things dragged a bit and I wasn't as captivated as I have been in the past.
-- I liked Bella a lot more as a vampire than as a human. Whereas before she didn't seem like a teenager, as a vampire, she ...more SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!
Whereas before she didn't seem like a teenager, as a vampire, she "fit" better.
-- I liked how the vampires were shown as more "human".
-- I liked how the werewolves found a place with the vampires (and nice save at the end, calling them shape-shifters instead of werewolves -- I'd always wondered why no one got bitten and "changed".)
-- I'm still completely creeped out by werewolves imprinting on babies. Sorry, couldn't get past the gross factor on that.
-- The ending was interesting, but the last few pages kind of left me flat -- although I have no idea how she could have ended it any other way.
All in all, glad I read it, but I wasn't overwhelmed with awesomeness. I gave it four stars mainly because as a series, I liked it, and am quite glad I read it. Not literary perfection, but anyone reading it expecting that is in the wrong section of the book store.
That's why it's Called FICTION!!! August 20, 2008 When I read the reviews for this book, I was shocked to see that there were a LOT of negative ones. I love supernatural fiction (vampires, werewolves, zombies, demons, etc) and wanted this book to be good. So I entered the pages with a little hesitation. I was surprised to find that I loved the book. Things that made other people cringe (Bella's pregnancy, Jacob's imprinting, etc) just made me smile and read on. The reality is that this series is about a high school aged girl and her romance with a VAMPIRE - which makes it fantasy!!! The series is for Young Adults and should be read with that in mind. It is a delightful escape from the boring day-to-day world and very enjoyable if you don't try to weigh it down with serious real-life issues that have no place in Bella's world.
Please People! August 20, 2008 Whatever happened to just taking a minute to enjoy a piece of fiction, since when does every book have to teach us a moral lesson. I would hope that if these young adults are old enough to read the books then they are wise enough not to think it imitates life and that everything will just work out in the end. Get a grip this is just a fictional book about a vampire and a teenage girl who fall in love, get married and have a child yes there are a few altercations thrown in but ....IT'S FICTION!
Why???? August 20, 2008 I am seriously starting to think that Meyer just scrolled through the fan fiction, saw one she liked and voila there was the ending of the supposed "next Harry Potter." This book really is a bad influence on younger kids and I'm only 13. My sister couldn;t even get past the second or third chapter. The writing is so horrible. The things no one wants to read about like Bella walking are described for 10 pages. Then when something actually important comes along like the wedding Meyer uses one word to desribe it. I am truly disappointed by this conclusion and also that it was only 40% off for THIS book.
